Born Melba Joan Hendrickson, Nov. 6, 1933; died March 18, 2010.
She was blessed with many friends and found joy in time spent with family and friends. Her grandchildren were her special treasures, and she would do anything for them. She was a funny, happy person who brought joy to many. She will be missed.
She was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers, Russell, Clayton, Jack, Ken and Dale Hendrickson.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Arnold Stolan; daughter, Mickey (Kim) Olson; sons, David (Pam) Stolan and Kyle (Carolyn) Stolan; grandchildren, Dustin Olson, Travis Olson, Katie Stolan, Brady Olson, Emily Stolan, Eric Stolan, Brianna Stolan and Christopher Stolan; and many dear nieces and nephews.
A special thanks to all who cared for her and her family during this difficult time and thank you to the caring staff at the emergency room and hospice at St. Mary’s Medical Center of Duluth.
VISITATION: 4-8 p.m. today and
1 until the 2 p.m. funeral service Monday in Asbury United Methodist Church, 6822 Grand Ave., Duluth. Services entrusted to First Memorial Funeral Chapel, 624-5200.
