Juanita M. Lippert

Juanita M. Lippert, 64, of Duluth died Saturday, March 20, 2010, in St. Luke’s hospital surrounded by her family, following a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born on June 17, 1945, in Omaha, Neb., to Clarence and Helen Lee. Juanita was a 1964 graduate of Denfeld High School and worked in the health care field as a nurse’s assistant. She married Robert G. “Bob” on Aug. 16, 1969, in Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Duluth. Juanita was a member of Our Savior’s, where she was active in the Naomi Circle, the Church Choir,

50 Plus Club and the Friday Bible Study.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Gene Lee. She is survived by her husband, Robert; two daughters, Page (Doug) Adler of Madison and Berta Lippert of Duluth; two sons, Calvin (Dru) Lippert of Anchorage, Alaska, and Ken Lippert of Hermantown; three sisters, Beverly Hughes (Dave Blair) of Proctor, Patricia (Nolan) Molkoy of Forsyth, Mo., and Sharon Jones of Onawa, Iowa; a brother, Clifford Lee of Onawa, Iowa; six grandchildren, Lisa (Tony), Lindsey (Matt), Bryan, Travis, Pavle and Dakota; four great-grandchildren, Kevin, Brock, Sullivan and Luka; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

VISITATION: 5-7 p.m. Tuesday in Williams Lobermeier Funeral Home and will continue from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service Wednesday in Our Savior’s Lutheran Church. 4831 Grand Ave. Rev Christine Anttila officiating. Entombment in Sunrise Cemetery. Memorials to the St. Luke’s Breast Cancer Foundation would be appreciated. Arrangements by Williams Lobermeier Funeral Home.
