Love for Haiti

February is the month of love and matchmaking. This year the Matchmaker forms were sold for $2 and the proceeds of $96.32 went to the Red Cross Relief for Haiti.

The Matchmaker forms were submitted to Fortress Software Inc. after the students fill out the form that consists of their age, name, gender and random questions about what movie star would play them to what age group they hang out with.

Once forms are submitted, a few days later the Matchmaker results were available to purchase at lunch.

The Matchmaker results showed students who their sixteen most compatible people would be in their current grades and remaining grades. Other categories the students were matched in were most and least compatible friends and a mystery match which was located at the bottom of the form.

Student Council adviser Marc Campbell said that Student Council gets a kick and think it’s interesting how the student body looks forward to the forms even though most students do not take it seriously.
