Mock Trial heads to regional competition

Mock Trial participants received fourth place at regionals on Saturday, February 13. Overall, winning depended on who won the most rounds out of four. The team won round one and round two but faced a loss in the third and fourth round. Their opponents in the fourth round had the highest number of points which gave them an advantage.

The members of the teams were also graded individually on a scale of 1-10, 1 being the worst and 10 being outstanding. The team received second place in point totals. However, points were not what were needed to win. There were also three judges that helped in the decision of the winning team.

Members senior Carrie Slick and sophomore Jenny Ostrowski were given honorable mentions for their outstanding performances.
