Her parents are Ardie and Jim Barnett of Golden Valley, Minn. His parents are Courtney and Robert King of Duluth.
The bride chose her friend Jen Lorine as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Katie King, Lindsie Miller, Sari Lennick, Stacie Primer, Rhonda Geere and Carrie Klein. Marin King was the flower girl.
The groom chose his brother, Ryan King as best man. Groomsmen were Adam Barnett, Dan Ambruso, Dan Polsby, Pete Mokros, Jason Primer and Paul Miller.
The bride, a 1996 graduate of Hopkins High School, graduated from Penn State University in 2000 with a bachelor's degree in English and Education. She is an English Teacher at Southview Middle School in Edina and the Boys Tennis Coach at Hopkins High School.
The groom, a 1995 graduate of Marshall High School, Duluth, graduated from Lake Forest College, Illinois in 1999 with a bachelor's degree in Economics. He received his law degree from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul in 2008. Mitchell is an attorney with the BenePartum Law Group, P.A. in Mendota Heights, Minn.
