David and Emily Larson of Superior celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary with a trip to Maine in September 2009 with plans for another trip in 2010.

David and the former Emily Wiley were married January 12, 1980 in Zion Lutheran Church, Winter, Wis.
Their children are Rachael (Jeremy) Lackner and Carolyn (Chris) Keturi, all of Superior. They have six grandchildren.
David works for Pierre Marquette Shipping in Ludington, Mich. Emily, who worked for the Department of Natural Resources in Superior, is retired.
