Johannes and Martha Aas of Duluth will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with a dinner with family and friends in February, 2010.

Johannes and the former Martha Borch-Jensen were married November 29, 1959 in Aarhus, Denmark.
Their children are Michael and Marcia Aas of Darlington, Wis., Christine and Kris Larson, and Peter and Jane Aas, all of Duluth. They have eight grandchildren.
Johannes, who work at SMDC, is retired. Martha, who worked at SMDC, is retired.
