UPDATED: Patrol identifies man killed in Hermantown accident
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Jamie J. Malmquist was on foot when he was hit shortly before 11 p.m. by a 1996 Dodge Ram pickup.
A 29-year-old Duluth man was fatally injured Tuesday night when he was hit by a truck near the intersection of Midway Road and Old Midway Road.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol, Jamie J. Malmquist was on foot when he was hit shortly before 11 p.m. by a 1996 Dodge Ram pickup. The truck was traveling southbound when Malmquist tried to run west across Midway Road and was struck.
Hermantown police and the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
