The Bentleyville Tour of Lights display is likely to hit 100,000 visitors either Friday or Saturday night, organizers said Thursday.

As of Wednesday night nearly 90,000 people have visited the light display at Bayfront Festival Park, averaging about 3,300 visitors a night since it opened in late November.

Cold weather has seen the crowds dwindle somewhat, but Bentleyville founder Nathan Bentley said weekends have drawn far larger crowds, and he expected them to pick up again with warmer weather expected and Elfis — half-elf and half-Elvis — performing Saturday and Sunday.

This weekend will also be the last one before Christmas. Bentleyville will be open both Christmas Eve and Christmas and will close Jan. 2.
