Alroy and Mary Jo Mersnick of South Range, Wis., will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary next summer with a family celebration.
Alroy and the former Mary Jo Sorenson were married Dec. 19, 1959.
Their children are Scott (Sarah), of Germany, Eric of Pacific Junction , Iowa, Alan (Lara) of Tampa, Fla., and Rebecca (Mike) of Papillion, Neb. They have six grandchildren.
Alroy is a retired Major from the United States Air Force. Mary Jo is a retired school teacher.
