The Minnesota Pollution Control Agency has removed its “No Water Contact Recommended” signs on the beaches of the French River, Leif Erikson Park, New Duluth Boat Club at 14th Avenue on Park Point and the Sky Harbor airport parking lot, which were set Thursday.
The warning for the Clyde Avenue public landing on the St. Louis River in West Duluth remains in effect.
The PCA tested waters Wednesday and results Thursday showed elevated bacteria levels that could cause people to become sick if they swallowed water.
