Rodney E. Weiland, Sr., 70, of Hermantown, died Thursday, April 9, 2009, at his home.

There will be a visitation from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, also from 10 to 11 a.m. Tuesday with an 11 a.m. funeral service Tuesday at Dougherty Funeral Home, 600 E. Second St., Duluth. Interment in Polish Catholic Cemetery with military honors accorded by the Duluth Combined Honor Guard.

Joan (Jenny) Ziemski, 94, passed away Friday, April 10, 2009, at Edgewood Vista, Hermantown, with her family by her side. Services were held Tuesday at St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church with burial at the Polish Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements were by Dougherty Funeral Home.
