Come early autumn, the Zenith City of the Unsalted Seas lights up in an arboreal whirlwind.
Of all Duluth’s celebrated neighborhoods, though, I’d have to say that Morgan Park or “The Park” — or, going way back, “The Model City” — is the most impressive when it comes to all-out leafy goodness.
Take a stroll down its main street, 88th Avenue West (aka Arbor Street), or just cast your eyes upon the hills above town; either way, you’ll see what I mean.
For a limited time only, that is: The Minnesota Department of Natural Resources reports that Duluth and practically all of the surrounding communities are already seeing peak fall colors.
The clock is ticking, fellow leafers.
