NAME: Laneasha
AGE: 7
INTERESTS: Laneasha loves to do anything outside. She enjoys jumping rope, sledding and ice skating. When she is not outside, she enjoys role playing, painting, cooking and watching movies. In school Laneasha likes math and recess.
PERSONALITY CHARACTERISTICS: Laneasha’s mom described Laneasha as a free spirit. She is very friendly and likes to spark up a conversation with everyone she meets. She is also very caring and respectful. Laneasha loves to help her mom and people that live nearby.
GOALS/DREAMS: When Laneasha gets older, she would like to become a doctor. When asked what she would do if she had three wishes, she responded, “that her papa was with her again, that all of her family lived in a big house with her and that her whole family lived across the street.”
MENTOR: Laneasha’s mom is looking for someone who will get her involved in volunteering, exploring Duluth and taking in local theatre productions. She also would like someone to be understanding of their family’s struggles, supportive of Laneasha and able to make a commitment to a mentoring relationship.
