CLIFFORD FREDERICK TOUSIGNANT

Clifford Frederick Tousignant, formerly of Duluth, died in Brainerd, Minn.

Clifford Frederick Tousignant, formerly of Duluth, died in Brainerd, Minn., on Monday, Jan. 12.

He was born to Violet and Clifford Tousignant in Duluth on Aug 30, 1930.

Clifford was a 22 year veteran of the armed forces and decorated Korean War Veteran, during that time he was stationed all over the world. Cliff spent his civilian working years in the security field for Frasier Shipyards in Superior, Wis.

He was passionate about his country, enjoyed spending time with family, loved a good football game and sharing stories from his past. Clifford will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he has touched.

He is survived by his children: sons, Paul (Laurie) of Duluth, Marshall (Ann) of Brainerd, Calvin (Julia) of St Louis, Mo., and Louis (Mary) of Minneapolis; daughters, Susan Grimm-Tousignant of Mankato, Minn., and Jane (Dan) Herrick of Duluth; 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; brother, Robert Tousignant of Florida; sisters, Joan Tousignant and Helen Pierson of Duluth.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16, 2009 in Sunrise Memorial Park Funeral Home, Hermantown, MN. Family will receive friends from 12 to 1 pm. Interment Sunrise Memorial Park, Hermantown.

I am sorry to learn of the loss of your dad. I remember Marshall, Susan, and Calvin from when we were all kids in Isanti at the Bar-L-Ranch. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.
