I am sorry to hear that Avon has passed on. I knew Avon many years ago. Here is my favorite memorie of Avon.We went up to my cabin on Comstock Lake serveral times to go fishing. The first time was the most memorable as when she went to get into the boat she slipped in and fell on top of the fishing poles and broke them, we were laughing so hard that she couldn't get up. After that we got new poles from the cabin and fished all day. We laughed and shared stories all day. I am sure that we caught at least 30 crappies that day, I showed her how to clean them and we went several times after that. I will miss her. She was a wonderful person to know with such a big heart I will never forget her.
my condolences to all her family.

I’m so sorry to learn of the passing of Avon. I hadn’t seen her or the kids for several years, but was lucky enough to live next door to her while La’Verne, Maurice and grandbabies Erma, Kirsten, Ayesha and Avon, Jr. were growing up. Avon was one of the most amazing women I have ever met. Strong, compassionate, wise and the best hugger in the world. She will be missed in this world, but I’m resting assured that she will always be “driving the bus” in the next. That one’s for you, Avon! – Laura (Laurie Gottschalk, Kelso, WA)Report a Violation
