Snoodle Ceramic Gallery, located at 7107 Grand Ave., has a couple of events featuring local glass artist Jes Durfee coming up.

Tonya Borgeson’s Snoodle Ceramic Gallery, located at 7107 Grand Ave. in Duluth, has a number of events featuring local glass artist Jes Durfee coming up.

Some of his pieces will be on display from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. the last three Saturdays of the month (Jan. 17, 24 and 31) -- or by appointment. (Call 310-8903 to schedule a time.)

Between those first two dates will be two hands-on workshops with the artist at the neighboring Snoodle Studio: From 5 to 9 p.m. Jan. 22, Durfee will show how to make glass beads.

The next day, Jan. 23, the program will repeat at the same time.

Class size is limited to four students for both sessions. Cost is $50; call 310-8903 to register.
