Memorial Blood Centers low on Type O blood

Memorial Blood Centers has requested donations of Type O blood because of low supply and high demand at local hospitals.

Type O can be universally used to treat emergencies. Currently, the center has less than a one-day supply to serve more than 30 hospitals.

There are Memorial Blood Centers in Duluth, Hibbing, Virginia and Superior.
