GAIL HOLM JOHNSON

Gail Holm Johnson, 57, of Pomona, Mo.

Gail Holm Johnson, 57, of Pomona, Mo., died Dec. 21, 2008, in her home.

She was born the daughter of Helen Saukko Holm and the late Henry Holm on May 21, 1951, in Moose Lake, Minn.

She was united in marriage Nov. 9, 1985, in Duluth, Minn., to Ed Johnson.

She was a member of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Willow Springs, Mo., where she was the organist. She loved riding horses and loved all animals in general. She was a piano teacher, enjoyed directing plays, a big "I Love Lucy" fan, loved Walt Disney movies and memorabilia and was a huge Rolling Stones fan.

She is preceded in death by her father.

She is survived by her husband of Pomona; her mother of Kettle River, Minn.; two step-children, Erik Johnson of Boulder, Colo., and Zachary (Amanda) Johnson of Willow Springs, Mo.; two children, Leah (Nicholas) Johnson Riviello of Willow Springs and Nikolas Johnson of Pomona; two brothers, Bruce (Carol) Holm of Duluth and Eric (Gabriela) Holm of Minneapolis, Minn.; and one step-granddaughter, Nicole Johnson of Willow Springs.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE SERVICES: will be held at a later date.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Carter Funeral Home, Inc., in West Plains, Mo.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Relay For Life or the the American Cancer Society.

Dear Helen, Bruce and Eric~
We were so sorry to read in the paper of your loss of Gail. Our thoughts, prayers, and sincere sympathy are with you all at this time. Please remember that when someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure. Let your memories bring healing and the love of others comfort you.

I was sorry to read of the passing of your daughter, Gail at such a young age and want to offer our sympathies to you and your family. We lost a grandson earlier this spring and it is so difficult to weave through the grief.
