Workshop to help small and minority Wisconsin business owners

Wisconsin's Small Business Development Center at University of Wisconsin-Superior will host a session for small and minority-owned businesses 1-4 p.m. Wednesday at the Wisconsin Indianhead Technical College conference center, 600 N. 21st St., in Superior. Owners and representatives from small, disadvantaged or veteran-owned business are encouraged to attend. It is a workshop for those who may qualify to be certified as disadvantaged business enterprises but the workshop is open to the public, regardless of business location or type of business.

The workshop is free of charge, but reservations are requested. For more information or to register by phone, call (715) 394-8351 or email sbdc@uwsuper.edu. Participants are invited to bring laptops for the registration exercises. Computers will also be provided.
