Woman who fell into abandoned mine in good condition
The 29-year-old woman has been identified and is recovering following her fall down an embankment into an abandoned mining operation on Monday in Chisholm.
Molly Van Dyke of Hibbing was listed in good condition Tuesday. She was airlifted to Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth following her rescue. She suffered a broken neck, but has full use of her limbs. She is expected to make a full recovery.
