Woman hurt when vehicles collide in Hibbing
One woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident Friday afternoon in Hibbing.
Becky L. Smith, 44, was in stable condition on this morning at Fairview Range Medical Center in Hibbing, a hospital spokeswoman said.
The Minnesota State Patrol said Smith, whose hometown was unavailable, was southbound on U.S. Highway 169 at 5:41 p.m. on Friday when her 1980 Ford, model unknown, went through a red light at 37th Street East.
Smith’s vehicle collided with an eastbound 2010 Buick Lacrosse driven by Harold M. Osborne, 89, of Hibbing. Osborne and his passenger, Maxine L. Savage, 89, of Hibbing suffered no apparent injuries, the State Patrol said.
