Wednesday's weather for Duluth and the Northland: Our sunny, pleasant streak continues

Adam Clark

TODAY: A high-pressure system is over our region giving us light winds out of the north at 3-6 mph. Highs will be in the mid-70s with mostly sunny to sunny skies.

THURSDAY: Morning lows will be in the low 50s and highs will be near 77.  We will see a few more clouds with partly cloudy skies because of a weak wave in the jet stream pushing over the region.

FRIDAY: It will be partly cloudy and warm as the high pressure pushes to the east over the Ohio River Valley. A stronger southwest bumps morning temperatures to the mid-50s and upper 70s by the afternoon.

SATURDAY: Highs will be in the mid-70s with a 30 percent chance of thunder as a wave in the jet stream pushes over the region. Temperatures will remain mild with lows around 60 and highs in the mid-70s.
