UMD adds entrepreneurship major
A new major will be added to the Labovitz School of Business and Economics at the University of Minnesota Duluth beginning this fall.
The entrepreneurship major will offer classes in management, marketing, finance, business law and entrepreneurship, for people graduating with a business administration degree.
A mentoring program, business plan competitions, field trips to entrepreneurs’ companies and internships will be folded into the program. Students have been asking for such a major, officials said.
