Tuesday's weather for Duluth and the Northland: Storms possible north of Douglas County

TODAY: The low that brought storms last night moves over Lake Superior and brings a 60 percent chance of storms, mainly before 1 p.m. north of Douglas County. Highs will be near 80, with winds shifting behind a cold front to the northwest at 15-25 mph with gusts up to 30 mph this afternoon.

WEDNESDAY: High pressure will build from the northwest, bringing dry air. Lows will be near 55, with highs in the mid- and upper 70s.

THURSDAY: High pressure will push to the east, with lows in the low 50s, highs in the mid-70s and mostly sunny skies.

FRIDAY: Two lows will approach from the west, bringing a 30 percent chance of showers and storms.
