TODAY: A low-pressure system will move into southwestern Minnesota. A fast spot in the jet stream's upper levels will increase uplift to give us a 70 percent chance of thunderstorms. We will see scattered storms throughout the day, with hail and high winds the primary concerns. A northeast wind will keep us cooler by the lake.
