The first rolls of artificial turf were laid on the football field at Superior High School’s National Bank of Commerce Spartan Sports Complex on Wednesday. Crews also worked on the concessions/bathroom area of the approximately $4 million complex, which is slated to open Aug. 29 when Superior hosts a boys soccer and football doubleheader.
