Trump cancels June summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un



Stephen Raymond Thomas passed away on Aug. 23, 2014.

Steve was born in Kalispell, Mont., on May 24, 1938, to Jewel and Ruth Thomas.

From Montana, the Thomas' moved to St. Paul, in 1953. Soon after Steve met his future wife of 53 years, Mary. They raised two children.

Steve served in the Minnesota Air National Guard, 1961-62; worked 27 years for Sperry Univac; earned his B.S. and Master degrees in Business Administration; ran Affinity Computer Applications. He was an active member of the National Ski Patrol 1966-2003, Sports Car Club of America, and HRRV; a Scoutmaster; a model railroad hobbiest.

In 2005, Steve and Mary settled outside Duluth, a few miles from their grandkids.

Steve is survived by his wife, Mary; his children, Stephen (JoAnn) and Jean; five grandchildren; and brother, John (Marilyn).

VISITATION: 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014 until the 3 p.m. service in the Family of God Lutheran Church, 4097 Martin Road, Duluth. Arrangements by Cremation Society of MN Duluth, 218-624-5200.
