RICHARD "DICK" DUANE GODBOUT

Richard "Dick" D. Godbout, 79, of Cromwell, passed away at home on May 4, 2014.

Dick was born on Sept. 6, 1934 in Carlton to Emil and Alma (Lavigne) Godbout.

He was a 1952 graduate of Carlton High School. Dick served in the U.S. Army and worked at Conwed. He was united in marriage to Beverly Tellinghuisen on Sept. 26, 1959. Dick and Bev moved to their farm in Cromwell in 1971 where they raised beef cattle. He enjoyed planting and harvesting cabbage and working his farm.

Richard was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Ernest and Daniel Godbout; sisters, Anna Mae Godbout and Rose Parks.

He is survived by wife, Beverly; son, Rick; daughters, Pam (Al) Moline, Barb Schaufler, and Leann (Stacy) Steffan; sister, Joyce Wallace; grandchildren, Greg, Hannah, Analee, Kaitlyn, and Carter; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give special thanks to Stephanie M. of St. Luke's Hospice Staff for her care and support.

VISITATION: 10 a.m. Saturday, May 10, 2014 until the Celebration of Life Service which will begin at 12 Noon in Nelson Funeral Care in Cloquet.
