Reader's view: Walker’s ‘prosperity’ agenda hurts roads
Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker claimed in early March that once the “Blueprint for Prosperity” is signed into law, his administration will have delivered $2 billion in tax relief.
My wife and I recently rode over Wisconsin’s highways, and, mile for mile, except for a few miles near major cities, the surfaces were probably the worst in the nation. Walker should forget the politics and spend the money where it should be spent — now.
