Reader's view: US needs to stop being Santa Claus to the world
There is much confusion about the remains of the people who lost their lives when terrorists attacked and demolished the Twin Towers (“New York moves remains of 9/11 attack victims to ground zero,” may 11). Surviving relatives should be thankful our government is spending great sums of money and effort to recover remains caused by terrorists. If relatives are not satisfied, I suggest they file lawsuits against all the leaders of the countries that are home to terrorists.
The United States has been Santa Claus too long. It’s time for the people to face reality.
I also suggest upper-level politicians spend time in active combat with our armies.
It is time to save our planet.
