Reader's view: Road repairs aren’t only attack on wallet
The News Tribune deserves thanks for its April 2 “Our View” editorial, “Road repairs: Hold on to your wallets.”
Funny how it seems that once again the few taxpaying citizens left in Duluth will somehow carry the financial burden for these road repairs. Maybe the task force set up a year ago to study the issues should spend some time looking at ways to attract businesses instead of selling existing ones. How about attracting more taxpaying citizens instead of dope dealers, criminals and misfits — who, by the way, also use our roadways?
“Hold on to your wallets” seemed to apply to more than having to pay for some ongoing road repairs.
