Reader's view: Knock on the door and Jesus will let you in

Jesus said, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand.” In the Lord’s Prayer he said, “Thy will be done on Earth as it is in heaven,” which means Jesus is heaven and always has been here. He told the criminal next to him on the cross, “Today you will be with me in paradise,” meaning life everlasting when we die believing in Jesus. Jesus said, “Believe that I am in the Father, and the Father in me; or else believe me for the very works sake.”

Jesus predicted his sacrifice on the cross by saying, “For the Father judges no man but hath committed all judgment unto the Son.” Jesus died for our sins so we can be free and forgiven and so we can have him guide our lives every day. We just need to “ask and it will be given, seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened.”

Jesus always has been with us since the first Easter morning. He said, “I am the way, the truth and the life; no man cometh to the Father but by me,” and, “I am the vine and you are the branches; for without me you can do nothing. I will send you the comforter, Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name who will teach you all things.”

I recommend the book, “Heaven is Real,” which now also is a movie in theaters. It’ll help convince you of the truth. There are many honest testimonies to read but also false testimonies of which to be wary. Just ask Jesus to guide you to the right ones.

He healed illnesses in the Bible and still does by just asking instead of depending on drugs, alcohol and sex to escape troubles.
