Public warned not to swim in Lake Superior due to danger of riptides
Due to the danger of rip currents, the Duluth Fire Department has issued a red flag warning and is advising people not to swim in Lake Superior until after 10 a.m. Monday. Lifeguards have been pulled from all public beaches on Park Point and red flags are flying to warn people of dangerous conditions.
