Police warn of scam targeting Minnesota Power customers
A new scam targeting Minnesota Power customers has hit the Northland, Duluth police warned Friday.
Several residents have reported receiving phone calls that claim to be from a Minnesota Power representative alerting them that they are overdue on their accounts. The caller demands they purchase a prepaid money card to pay a balance of up to several hundred dollars.
