Police searching for two suspects in Holiday hold-up

Duluth Police continue to search for two men who allegedly robbed a gas station at gunpoint early Sunday morning. The stick-up occurred about 3:30 a.m. at a Holiday Stationstore at 3931 W. First St.


Police report their investigation indicates that two men entered the store and one demanded money from its employees after displaying a black semi-automatic handgun.

The pair collected an undisclosed sum of money and then fled the scene. They were last seen running east before jumping into a vehicle and speeding away.

Both suspects wore hooded sweatshirts and had bandannas coveringtheir faces.

The armed suspect was described as a white man with a heavy build and wearing a black sweatshirt. His partner was described as a white man with a heavy build and wearing a purple sweatshirt.

Anyone with information about the crime or these suspects is asked to call 911.
