Pearl High, 86, of Duluth, died March 27, 2014, in Bayshore Nursing Home.
Pearl was born to Kathryn and Alfred Oldstedt Oct. 23, 1927. She was a homemaker and had worked for Freimuths, Glass Block, St. Luke's and the Days Inn for 20 years.
She was a member of the Sons of Norway Lodge and enjoyed the friendships and activities there.
Pearl enjoyed dancing, traveling, drawing and painting. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and so loved being around family. Pearl enjoyed the friendships she had at S-Select.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Violet, and husband of 66 years, Warren.
Pearl is survived by her children, Dan (Sandy) High and Sharon (Barry) Eid; grandchildren Tara (Mike), Brian (Paula) and Scott; and great-grandchildren Kayla, Brenna, Devin and Kaiden.
The family would like to thank all the caregivers and hospice at Bayshore who were involved in her final journey in life. She always spoke so highly of them. We find comfort that she is with the Lord and the husband she missed so much. Her memory will be in our hearts forever.
VISITATION: 10 until the 11 a.m. memorial service Thursday, April 3, in Sunrise Funeral Home.
Inurnment will be at Sunrise Memorial Park.
