Officials warn of rip currents along Park Point
Authorities are warning about dangerous swimming conditions along Park Point in Duluth today, and advise that people should stay out of the water.
Large waves and rip currents are possible along the Park Point beach today through 10 a.m. Friday, the Duluth Fire Department reported. "Rip currents are life-threatening to anyone entering the water. Stay out of the water regardless of your swimming experience," the fire department said in a news release.
