Northland's Locally Laid egg farm debuts TV ad from Super Bowl contest
They didn’t get the Super Bowl spot, but a television ad for Wrenshall's Locally Laid egg farm is now on the air.
The ad was produced as a runner-up prize in the Intuit “Small Business Big Game” contest that asked small business owners to go online last summer and make a pitch for their company getting an ad on during the Super Bowl in February. After a spirited online campaign that saw thousands of people voting for LoLa, the Locally Laid mascot, owners Jason and Lucie Amundsen ended up getting a trip to New York during Super Bowl week as one of the finalists.
They didn’t get the big prize, but were happy for the exposure and the TV ad shot last month in California.
The commercial will air from Monday through June 25 on Fox Sports 1 and 2, in addition to being available online.
