NICHOLAS "NICK" ALLEN SHERMAN

Nick Sherman, 34, suffered a brain aneurysm the morning of June 12 and passed just after noon on June 17, without regaining consciousness; with his family by his side and his mother holding him in her loving arms until the last beat of his heart.

Nick was born Oct. 24, 1979 to Kathy (Impola) and Allen Sherman Jr.

Nick worked much of his career in Adult Foster Care, but his passion was cars and entrepreneurship. He launched many business for himself and family to completion, including his own AFC business, and most recently Checkered Cab Company

He was proud to be an Ordained Minister and performed wedding ceremonies for friends and family.

He was a gentle soul who touched the hearts of everyone that knew him, and the expressions of love and support and shared stories from his many friends and family has been comforting.

Nicks dad Allen Sherman Jr died in 1980 and his memory and love had been kept alive. He was also preceded in death by maternal grandparents Patricia (Ray) Colling, Archie (Edith) Impola, Betty and Allen Sherman Sr, Ken Evans, and cousin Raymond Impola.

He was the only child of his mother Kathy (Impola Sherman) Evans. He is also survived by his step-father Keith Evans; his son, his pride and joy Owen Sherman-Martinez, 22 months; children Kaleb, Peyton, Liam Martinez and their mother Juliana; grandmother Connie Evans; step-brother Allen Sherman III; step-sister Kelly Evans Brown; his stand-in father uncle Rick (Tammy) Impola; uncle Mike Impola; aunt Lynn (Jim) Colling Reinholt; aunt Donna Impola; aunt and uncle Carl (Bonnie) Sherman; friend and God Son Jon Jackson and Jons mother Deb Oz; special friends Dennis and Josh, and other aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Mom and uncle Rick especially take comfort in the great love they all shared and that they did everything they could to keep Nick happy and safe during his short life.
