A game of chance
Leading up to the proposal, Matt asked me if I wanted to play a game. As a lover of games and surprises, I eagerly agreed. The game consisted of a blindfolded car ride and trivia questions regarding our relationship and each other. When we arrived at our destination, Matt led me blind-folded underneath a tree in the park where he had set up glowing Chinese lanterns. At that point, he took off the blindfold and asked me two more questions. The final one was, "Will you marry me?" And of course, I got that question right.
