MATTHEW JOE OSTERMAN

Matthew Joe Osterman, 33, had been battling Acute Myeloid Leukemia FLT3 strain for a year and lost that battle on Sunday morning, May 11, 2014, in his home. Leukemia may have won the battle, but Matt won the war. He leaves a legacy of love and generosity, and a beautiful family to carry that legacy forward.

Matt was a very loving husband, father, brother, son, cousin, uncle, but most of all Matt was a best friend to all. Words will never express how much he was loved by so many and how truly missed he will forever be. His love and generosity will forever be in our hearts.

Matt is survived by his wife, Lisa Rouleau; children, Damara, Lilly, and Alex; mother, Jonell Osterman; brother, Jason (Anjella) Osterman; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE: 2 p.m. Saturday May 17, at 3628 Antus Dr., Cloquet Minn. As requested by Matt himself, no funeral, and no tears. In his honor we will be having a BBQ-Potluck at their home. Please come and share any loving stories and memories you may have with us. Feel free to contact Jamie Ruzic for any questions 218-565-2349
