Marvin L. Anderson, 84, of Proctor, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 25, 2014, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born April 19, 1929.
Marvin was a retired union carpenter of 35 years. He loved his family, deer hunting, racing and gardening.
Marvin was preceded in death by his wife of 61 years, Gladine; sons, Leland and Darwin; great-grandson, Ben; parents, Albert and Florence; and a sister, Verneil Hagen.
He is survived by his children, Jim of Proctor, Shelly (Roy) Kice of LaVergne, Tenn., Kelly (Brian Agnes) Schneider of Cotton and Becky (Lanny) Holappa of Duluth; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Yvonne Freimoeller and Alison "Sis" Ford; four brothers, Kenny (Sylvia), Eugene "Wimpy," David (Marlene) and Dan (Terry); many other relatives and friends.
The family would like to thank the staff of St. Luke's Hospital and Hospice for their kindness and caring.
