Arrowhead Invitational semifinals set

A new champion will be crowned today at the conclusion of the 88th Arrowhead Invitational at Ridgeview Country Club.

A playoff victory in Saturday’s quarterfinals sent Brian Moores into this morning’s semis against Dan Moline, a winner over Jared Chartier on Saturday. In the other semifinal, Paul Anderson meets up-and-comer Taylor Sundbom. Anderson beat his brother, two-time champ Mark Anderson, in the quarterfinals.

Moores was a winner at last week’s Bill Law Nemadji Invitational at Nemadji Golf Course.

Nate Anderson won the match-play event a year ago.

Today’s semifinals start at 7:50 a.m., with the final match being played at 2:30 p.m.
