UMD recruit pegged for Hlinka tourney

Minnesota Duluth recruit Nick Swaney of Lakeville South High School was among those named Wednesday to the United States team for the 2014 Ivan Hlinka Memorial U-18 Tournament in the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

The 5-foot-10, 160-pound forward was selected from a group of 1997-born players trying out for the annual USA Hockey Select 17 Festival.
