June L. Cora, 92, of Gary New Duluth died Sunday, March 30, 2014 surrounded by family at Diamond Willow in Proctor, Minn.

She was born May 25, 1921 in Larimore, North Dakota to Elaine and John Rock.

She grew up in Poplar Wis. On Dec. 14, 1940 she married Floyd Cora and moved to Gary-New Duluth where they resided for over 60 years until his death in 2000, together they raised five children.

June worked as a Real Estate Agent, sold Avon, was a bowler for Morgan Park league, a member of women's fellowship & church council at United Protestant Church in Morgan Park. She was a resident of Morgan Park "for many years", she resided at Morgan Park Manor, Keystone Bluffs and Diamond Willow.

She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd, who waited with open arms for her to join him; sisters Marcella Ritchie and Margaret Saluzzi and brother Howard.

June had five children Richard (Marie) Cora, Timothy Cora and Robert (Donna) Cora; daughters Joyce Piper and Elaine Bigley; 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

VISITATION: 1 p.m. Thursday until the 2 p.m. Funeral Service in Sunrise Funeral Home 4798 Miller Trunk Hwy., Hermantown Burial will be at Oneota Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to Essentia Health St. Mary's Hospice. Online condolence see
