June K. Lox, 92, Coleraine died on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 in Home and Comfort Assisted Living in Coleraine.

She was born Sept. 1, 1921 in Minneapolis.

June attended and graduated from Roosevelt High School in 1939. June and Marvin D. Lox were married on Oct. 5, 1940 and made their home and raised their three children in Minneapolis until moving to Bloomington, Minn., in 1953. Following retirement in 1971, June and Marvin moved to their lake home in Bigfork. After Marvins death in 1995, June moved to Grand Rapids.

Her parents, James F. and Charlotte A. (Mortenson) Russell; her husband Marvin; two sons, Daniel and William; two great- grandsons; two brothers, Vernon and Willard; and a sister, Mollie preceded her in death.

Survivors include her daughter, Carol Warren; grandchildren, Paul Lox, Timothy (Patty) Lox, Michele (Chris) Timmons, Scott (Jodi) Lox, Steven (Kassandra) Keske, Vicki Keske, Ronald (Brenda) Keske, and Brian Lox; six great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; a daughter-in-law, Sharonne Lox; and several nieces, nephews, and friends.

VISITATION: 11 a.m. until the 12 Noon funeral service on Monday, Aug. 4, 2014 in the Grand Rapids United Methodist Church. Interment will be at the Lakeview Cemetery, Coleraine. Arrangements are with the Peterson Funeral Chapel of Coleraine. To leave an online condolence message, please go to
