JOHN "JACK" ENSIGN
John "Jack" Ensign, 76, of Duluth peacefully moved on to his meeting with the Lord on June 16.
Jack was a retired Supervisor with the Social Security Administration and a United States Army Veteran. He was a very proud Denfeld Hunter, Class of 1956 and a 1960 graduate of UMD. He was an avid Bulldog, Gopher and Olympics enthusiast. His greatest accomplishments were the roles he played in the lives of his friends and family.
He was preceded in death by parents Dr. Lester and Genevieve Ensign; brother Dr. William Ensign, and wife Marie (Lawler) Ensign.
He is survived by a sister Betty Terry of Brandon, Fla.; sons Mark of Circle Pines, Minn., and Andrew of Proctor; daughter Karen Letchworth of Las Vegas, Nev.; step-daughter Sally Lappin (Clow) of Naples, Fla.; 13 grandchildren and one great- grandchild.
VISITATION: 11 a.m. until the 12 noon Memorial Service, Thursday, June 26 in Bell Brothers Funeral Home, 601 N 56th Ave W., in West Duluth. Graveside Military Honors presented at Oneota Cemetery immediately following the service.
