Jack Frazer Sheff Jr.


Jack "Dinger" Frazer Sheff Jr. left St. Luke's hospital Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014, to reunite with his wife, Renea, in Heaven.

Jack was born June 10, 1941, in Cloquet. He was a combat engineer with the United States Army and served in the Vietnam War.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Renea Sheff; father Jack Sheff Sr.; mother Gertrude Sheff; brothers Dan Sheff and Vaughn Sheff; sister Bobby Nordiak; and son-in-law David Taylor.

Jack will be deeply missed by his children, Lisa (Jim) Taylor, Lori (Bobby) Sheff and Jack (Toni) Sheff III; his dog, Rocko; grandchildren Lisa Marie Taylor, DJ Taylor, Danny Taylor, Leyla Taylor, Kashay Sheff and Kennedy Price; brothers Mike Sheff, Scott Sheff and Mark Sheff; and sisters Kathy Klinga and Theresa Klinga; and many nieces and nephews.

Special thanks to Kandi at Interim, Dr. Placta, Dr. Markon, Miranda, Susan and the Twin Ports staff, and St. Luke's for the care given over the years. Jack was known for his great hair and being "so darn cute."

FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS: 10 until the 11 a.m. memorial service Wednesday, Aug. 20, in the Handevidt Funeral Home, 900 Washington Ave., Cloquet.
