Helena Drozdek, 85, of Duluth, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Keystone Bluffs, surrounded by her family.
Helena was born March 22, 1929 in Celinovac, Bosnia.
When Helena was 40 years old, she came to the United States with her family. Helena loved to garden, sew, and cook. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.
She was a member of St Mary's Star of the Sea Catholic Church.
Sadly, Helena was preceded in death by her parents, Mihal and Barbara Jaros; spouse Gregor Drozdek; daughter Rozika and sister Bronhilda Miketin.
Helena was survived by her children, Maria (Pero) Donovic, Mike Drozdek, Adam (Francie) Drozdek and Karolina (Tony) Baker; 10 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; siblings Karl (Kathryn) Jaros, Rose (Frank) Jurasek, Monika Jaros, Michael (Annette) Jaros and Adam Jaros all of Duluth; and numerous nieces and nephews.
